I finally have one little item in my shop, but will be working on new pieces this weekend.
I've been trying to be a good girl & utilize the stones that I already have, but I've failed. I couldn't turn these down. I bought these off of Etsy as a lot from an estate sale. It's lovely to have all of these stones to look at & hold, but some of the stones have not been identified. Could anyone please help me?
These are the ones I'm not sure about. I think the little green round at the bottom may be aventurine & maybe the 2 "clear" ones Montana Agate, but I could very well be wrong.
I've been MIA for a while, but I think I'm back now. Sometimes life gives you lemons & you don't have any sugar for the lemonade, so you just do the best you can. Occasionally, doing the best you can still isn't good enough so you just have to pull yourself up & move on...with or without the sugar. Sorry to be such a downer...I'm doing better now (aren't you glad I was MIA during my "dark" period????). I'm working on a few new pieces so I'll be posting again soon.
Y'all be good.

I can't help with the stone ID, but they are gorgeous, whatever they are!
I'm glad you made it through the sour lemonade. Sometimes life can really get you down.

Thanks Tammy. I think we all go through it, but it seems that the more artistically inclined have a larger population than the regular cross section of people. I guess that's where the expression "tortured artist" comes from....who knew???

Ohhh, these are nice. You definitely have yourself some agates in there, but I'm sorry I can't be more specific than that. (Frankly, I think they just make up new types Agate on a daily basis. Not sure who "they" are, but you know what I mean.) I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by my blog and for the kind words you left there. I've added you to my reading list and am really happy to have a fellow "stoner" around! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the above lovelies. : )
AND I LOVE the profile picture. Puppy-face!
Thanks Rosy, she's my little (not so little) bubby. Thanks for stopping by, I may stop in & see you at Centerfest if you're going to be there.

Hi Pam, I also bought some stones from this sale and I love them. The ones I can't identify will just remain "agates":) Too many sometimes to try and figure out. Welcome back and good luck. Have a great weekend. Sally
